The popular rural village of Staunton on Wye lies in west Herefordshire in the heart of the Wye Valley. Well serviced with an excellent primary and pre-school, doctors’ surgery, village church, village hall, garage and the ever-popular Oakchurch farm shop the village has a thriving community and is surrounded by farmland with apple orchards and some excellent walks right on the doorstep. The cathedral city of Hereford is within easy reach with an extensive range of services and facilities as well as a mainline train station.

After passing Oakchurch Farm shop take the second right hand turning into Staunton on Wye and after 300 yards turn right at the T-Junction. Continue past the village hall and pub and continue for approximately half a mile before turning left into a no-through lane. Continue along this lane, through an S bend, past a modern house on the right and continue onto a track which leads to a small junction. Sheriffs Cottage will be found on the right-hand side.
