Rose Cottage forms part of the popular and scattered rural village of Orcop, which itself is set amongst rolling Herefordshire countryside. Local village services are available at Much Birch, Wormelow, Orcop and Garway, with more extensive facilities at the Cathedral City of Hereford, which is a fifteen-minute drive away. To the south and west the market towns of Monmouth, Ross on Wye and Abergavenny are all within easy reach.
